Family is extremely important to us.  We are both very close to our parents and brothers and sisters.  Both sets of our parents live on small farms, with a variety of animals including horses, burros, goats, chickens and more.  Our parents are very eager to have more grandchildren to give pony rides and teach to gather eggs. Our child will also have 5 sets of aunts and uncles, and 4 cousins to love them dearly. Speaking of cousins, we have a unique situation in our family, we have two nieces named “Lexi”, one on each side of the family! We also have two nephews, Tatum and Shaun.  All of our immediate family live within a few hours drive of us, but we also have family in Oregon, Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas and Kentucky.  Both of our families are overjoyed at the fact that we are choosing open adoption.  They can’t wait to welcome a new member to the family.
